I love the gore on this video btw. I really hope that the final product has some nice gore... I mean I've seen videos, but I'm not sure how the gore's going to be and whether or not there's some death animations we just haven't seen yet. =)

I'm only concerned about the blood particle effect. I've seen it look quite a bit more convincing in other games (such as Shadow Warrior 2); here it has that annoying vapor mist thing going on, and it looks a bit too late 90s to me. The blood overall seems unfinished as an effect. Not like that's going to be a deal breaker, but I was hoping we had moved beyond the vapor mist thing by now.

I didn't really notice the vapor mist in the gameplay footage I saw. And I usually pay attention to details like that. In the new footage I've seen, I think they actually fixed the blood. It looks a bit more believable now IMHO. I think they got rid of the mist. Probably people complained about it like they did the piss yellow filter.

Can you provide an example? I've watched quite a bit of single player and have seen nothing but vapor mist effects. Now, when the player is performing a glory kill, it looks a bit better--still awkward because the blood arcs in a straight line and then fades away, which again seems kind of weirdly outdated--but it does look better.

I think the single-player stream had some moments... I can't really specify where and when exactly in the stream, I just know that the blood LOOKED a lot better to me than it did back at E3. But then again that's just my personal opinion I guess. :P

I was concerned about Fallout 4's gore and even then It turned out to be pretty damn gory.

Don't worry about It, from the looks of It the gore Is awesome.

Yah. I agree. At the moment it DOES look pretty gory.

BTW Am I the only one who watched the new Doom gameplay and just thought about the mew mew from this video? I kept mentally picturing this video playing out in the gameplay for some reason... hell even when I play Project Brutality now I find myself pausing and laughing because I keep picturing this video. lol

I guess it's in my head mentally now. :P
