Apart from the face not beeing visible that clearly, I think it is quite close to the concept art that floated around before Doom 3 (from which a later updated version ended up as an easter egg in Rage).

Personally, I can't wait to fight her. She's huge, she's a mechanical spider, she has them brains, brings a big gun and some magic...I'm looking forward to that fight :)

It also has some manga mecha-feel to it, but I can understand why many people might find that completely out off place in Doom.

It's hardly visible. The rest is personal taste.
You get a rather good idea regarding the design of the mechanical parts, and a general idea regarding the overall design of the monster itself. The face is hard to make out. We see glowing eyes, the same tubes running to the face we know from classic doom, and apart from that, things that could be anything regarding mouth/face/beak/chicken/whatever.
I like what I see, and first and foremost: better than another Doom game without it!
Personally, I'd advise NOT to click on the show-link, unless you are a sucker for spoilers like me (=> it is not enough to form a serious opinion).
