The Summoner is worse than the Arch-Vile.

It's quite a nice monster in its own right, but the lack of the archvile is painful. They could have easily made the second boss fight against proper archviles that set you on fire rather than the new guys.

Think they'll be brought back in in a mission pack?

I think it is sort of a nice stand in for the arch-vile given the projectile nature of combat. Though I am unsure what range of summoning demon wise it has (they should give it a bigger list of demons to summon from, assuming it only has a small amount it can summon).
