Someone create MegaWAD slaughterfest?

i get about 30 seconds in and the framerate drops to <10fps whatever dynamic light settings i choose.. it wont run in pr+ at all for me

Yes, but I dont know how delete this on patch... I have scare, because if I try delete these files on patch, then later I cant test/play this WAD because of errors...

In GZDoom, it gets slower and slower after you hit the first switches in the middle (unplayable slow at times), then smooths out as stuff dies.

If you can get it working in PrBoom+, that would be ideal, because PrBoom+ handles tons of monsters much better than ZDoom. Also I'd enjoy watching a demo of someone exiting. :P

Getting a 404 as well, but besides that. I'm not one for slaughermapping, but I suppose I could contribute If I had time In my hands.

EDIT: I see the new link, I'll give It a try.

EDIT 2: Didn't work for me, It just crashed GZDOOM.

I would (temporarily) advise against it if you don't like this style. I'm going all Captain Obvious here but slaughtermaps are really easy to fuck up and unsurprisingly, it turns out worthwhile entries are done by people who friggin love this.

A great thinker once said in this place:

Not trying to discourage you: wanting to contribute is good, and hey, at least you are doing something unlike me right now. But you might want to play at least a dozen of them to get a better grasp of this style, and who knows? You might end up having fun at making and playtesting your map.

I think Slaughtermaps can be fun, but sometimes I just don't have the patients or I get bored after a while, until I just turn on God mode and I go through the map clean and clear.

Though, I'd just make a slaughtermap just for the hell of It, you know? I'm not too big of a fan but I'd make one for just experimenting.

I'm trying to go through MistAche's map without God mode, though. Because IT IS good for what It Is, but even then I think I fucked up on one spot and gotta do most of It all over again. I'm doing this just for the sake of respect for the author, really.

Anyways, It was my video recorder that was making GZDOOM crash. I tried It out and while It's a good concept, maybe you should make It PrBoom compatible since that source port can REALLY handle slaughtermaps well. But keep up the good work.
