DoomPhreak Posted June 2, 2016 I reinstalled the game and was about to restore my backed up saved games (including SnapMap data), but when I opened up SnapMap, I saw my maps already available. Apparently they were in a cloud system, because my saved games didn't have the SnapMap data yet. When I opened up a map in editor mode, the SnapMap data was downloaded and showed up in my saved games folder. I had Steam sync disabled, and I don't see any cloud settings in SnapMap settings. I don't mind having a cloud backup for the maps that I spent many hours on. But I'm curious to know if there is a setting that controls it. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
snapshot Posted June 2, 2016 No but you can turn it on/off . 1) In your Steam Library, right-click on DOOM and select "Properties." 2) Click the "Updates" tab. 3) Uncheck "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for DOOM." 4) Click "Close." 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
DoomPhreak Posted June 2, 2016 As I said, I already have Steam sync disabled, but my maps are still saved in the cloud. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
