julz_d Posted June 10, 2016 It seems like the average complain about snap map is blaming everything on consoles in regards to the limits. Browser issues and four player limits etc... Well I disagree. They want the standard multiplayer to be successful. And guess what? Snap map gets right in the way in the way of that. Remember they have to keep it active so they can still sell the promised three paid DLC's. Thank about that next time you blame it all on Consoles. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Jaxxoon R Posted June 10, 2016 I think it's because they are night creatures. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

SnapMap idea is consolish by nature! 4 player limit - probably not console related....but overall it is very much a console victim. I could see this SnapMap thing as a purely PC editor and all the possibilities they could've implemented there. It could include simple brush drawing as well as all the radiant's basic modeling function and applying textures to surfaces, adding different types of lights + light masks and behaviors and a lot more and still be very user friendly. But then only on PC just like any other proper m/kb interface editor. BTW new SM update will add windows with skyboxes! And that is pobably maximum what we will get. Don't even think about outdoor areas. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

julz_d Posted June 10, 2016 You have to admit what I said makes sense from a business standpoint. I doubt snap map is going to have more than four players until they are done with the Mp DLC . 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
