knowing about the abilities and limitatios of any games engin not only helps u edit it but play it. The limitations can show us how to expliot enimies and find sectets and solve puzzels. AI errors and limitaions are the easiest, i prefer complex movements and planned attacks that the AI will have difficulty defending, In half-life, by knowing level setups and limitaions of the enimeis, i know were they can and cant go and were they prefer to go. My bro and most newbies dont understand that knowing the engin give one a great advantage over the game, like why does my bro try to open a door that is just a texture and not a door in the gaME, on stand in a room were the AI has an advantage.
