How to replace weapon sounds in slade software

Hey i have a question. How do i change the shotgun sound effect from original to my
custom one i built any help thanks. I am using slade software for this.

Find out the default shotgun sound's lump name in the IWAD, then import your sound into your wad as a new lump using SLADE3 and give the lump the same name as the shotgun sound's lump name was. Unless you're editing specifically for some advanced source port that supports modern audio formats, you need to also convert the sound lump to Doom sound format. To do so, right-click the sound lump in SLADE3 and choose Audio -> Convert to Doom Sound. If the conversion isn't successful, use some audio editing software to convert the sound to 8-bit wav and then try the whole procedure again.
