BUT, rather taking excerpts from DoomWiki articles and putting them in the OP, is what I had in mind.

^ Assuming doomwiki isn't going down (which I think we can assume), linking to doomwiki is superior to quoting it, as the doomwiki content might be improved or extended by new relevant information in the future, and then the thread wouldn't need to be updated to match it.
