How well does the Eternity port run in multiplayer?

I was thinking about setting up a game using the Eternity port, I was wondering if anyone ever played Doom using that port online. if so how well is it?

It might be as well a better idea posting this in "Eternity" section. In case not too many people in here care about what affections would Eternity bring into Doom multiplaying community.

Eternity doesn't currently have working network code, so it can't play network games. Hopefully this will be addressed in a future version.
