Source Port Demos

Is there a source port that can record demos that can be played back by doom2.exe? I can't get sound in doom2.exe cause of the irq and dma of my sound card. Anyone Have Any Ideas?

other ports can record demos, but why would you want to record them in 1.9 format if you can't load 1.9? the only reason why i could see is to cheat at compet-n. but prboom will let you do this

If you're releasing a pwad and want to include a demo that people can watch without a source port, for example.

I'd attempt moving around the IRQ/DMA, you can try doing so manually. Moving some piece of hardware up and placing the sound card on a lower value. I had that problem when I first installed DOOM on my present setup. If you succeeded you could run doom2

PrBoom seems to work for this purpose. Never failed for me.
