Risen3D DED Models, Not .exe?

I just want to install some models for Risen3D, but every single download I find is a .exe or .torrent or some other unnecessary file type.
How can I get the files, in a regular format?

You don't seem to quite understand what a .torrent is. You might want to double check if it's a mirror of the exe or contains another package that might be more relevant to you.

Also you'll probably find the exe is what you're looking for. Doomsday and Risen3D like to package everything up in automatic installers, as they don't function like normal Doom source ports with their content management.

IIRC, the models on R3D's site are packaged as self-extracting archives, in EXE format.

If you feel uncomfortable running the EXE file directly, you might be able to open it with 7-Zip and bypass the self-extractor entirely.
