EffinghamHuffnagel Posted September 2, 2022 (edited) Realized these don't exist in cc4-tex. Played. Thought they might be useful. Paletted. Edit: forgot one Edited September 2, 2022 by EffinghamHuffnagel 10 Quote Share this post Link to post
Fraston Posted September 3, 2022 (edited) A texture I made from a lamp that I took a picture of. Again, not paletted, since I don’t have SLADE handy, but I tried to get the high contrast yellow look. Edited September 3, 2022 by Fraston 5 Quote Share this post Link to post
Faceman2000 Posted September 3, 2022 Inspired by both a texture from KDiZD and my obsession with making METAL variants, I present a bunch of FLOOR0_5/6/7 walls: 15 Quote Share this post Link to post

ViolentBeetle Posted September 4, 2022 Improved on the previous "Alan Moore" texture by combining it with STONE4 - though it won't tile with that very well because shade is different. I can probably turn this guy into a switch by adding pull ring from hexen into his mouth and give him glowing eyes. But not today. 10 Quote Share this post Link to post

Fantastic work. 15 Quote Share this post Link to post
HorseJockey Posted September 7, 2022 (edited) Been a longtime lurker on these forums and have been going through all my unfinished projects (Read: All of my projects) and wanted to give something back for everything that I have learned over the years. Here are some more textures from an unfinished Star Wars/Synth wave inspired level I was working on. Not palleted, use for whatever you want. Just give me a credit and if you have the time shoot me a line so I can see how they were used, would love to see other peoples uses of these. Doors: Walls, Trim and Lights. Any of these could be easily edited with the colorize option to change them to whatever shade you wish: I sincerely hope someone gets some use out of these, enjoy. Edit: Skybox I created for said project in spacescape, a royalty free sky box generator that is a really great and fully customizable piece of software. deleted-account Posted September 8, 2022 A very simple edit of DOOR15_3 to be color coordinated with keys. This *might* have been done before (my texture memory usually fails me), but alas this is my take if one already exists. Might look good with a brightmap made for it. 29 Quote Share this post Link to post

deleted-account Posted September 8, 2022 They're actually all individual doors (sorry I didn't make that more clear) and not one texture switch. The green "open" door was more of a throwaway to fit in with the other three, which act as regular locked keycard doors. Hmm now you're giving me ideas... 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

ShallowB Posted September 9, 2022 Nice! I'm a big fan of locked doors getting their own textures. I made these for the big UAC doors myself: And here's a variant that uses the old UAC logo. 12 Quote Share this post Link to post

Thank you for addressing my main quibble with textures made for Build being used in the Doom engine (and not resized). Even in the Build games, these textures tended to be shrunk down when actually applied to walls; in Doom, this is even more of an issue, as the player is only 56 map units high and the door textures tend to be at least 128 pixels tall. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
horselessheadsman Posted September 12, 2022 ".....You guys suck." It takes more then star-power to make a good product, unfortunately. Especially when it's in development hell. Maybe Gearbox can finish that one too? (in doom palette) Free to use if appropriate credit is given. 13 Quote Share this post Link to post
HorseJockey Posted September 12, 2022 These are some textures I made for a library project. Use as you want just give me a credit. These were some unfinished wood textures I was experimenting with, sorry about the wall of textures. Parquet flooring in a couple different styles: Some 70's style wood paneling for walls or whatever else: 5 Quote Share this post Link to post
sergeirocks100 Posted September 13, 2022 I drew a red brick texture back in 2018, for something that i forgot. I found it on an old flash drive, so i decided to touch it up, and make gray and brown variants. All three of these textures are Doom paletted. 9 Quote Share this post Link to post
