Or you could say "Thank you". No offense but people put allot of work into these and offering any art assets for free use is incredibly generous on the part of the artist, so while I appreciate your humor, maybe add a thank you as well. Just a thought.

No, they aren't.

 

We're big on community attribution here in the Doom scene - If you use other people's stuff, you credit them accordingly.

Just noticed... did you forget the chaingun? It's the only weapon not having its own texture?

Shortly before posting I noticed. I'll add the chaingun with the remaining textures.

Recolored Plutonia Switches

Note - Uses Hardfest 2's palette. The red colored ones should be the same as the standard doom palate though.

I decided that it would be useful to make a version based off (iirc) NiGHTMARE's green crate textures.

I'll probably make better versions of this later but for now take this "clearly meant to be shot" switches idea I had. 

 

edit: sized them down to fit the thread, improved the visuals by quite a bit, and made them transparent so you can put them on other textures:

You mean like this?  Took like 20 seconds, I just copied them from the other textures on the sheet.

fwiw I think they're just from a Doom 2 texture.  Not sure if it's a patch or they were just cut out of a wall texture, but they look really familiar.

I just could have swore there was a slight undershadow to the pipes that cutting out couldn't have kept. Thank you though, I appreciate it (those missing pipes were driving me crazy)

You're not wrong. These are DooMAD's recolours of a texture set I made, but based on an upload where I accidentally missed out a layer. I fixed the original textures, but too late for these recolours. You're right, here is a little bit of shadowing on the bricks that's missed out in these fixes. I'll knock out better versions tomorrow.

This is quite a handsome texture set, @Nootrac4571. Very Doom and very urban, which seems to be a hard mix to make, usually urban textures don't fit Doom as comfortably as they ought to.

May I suggest a variation on the corner/top pieces that have the top trim overlapping?

People might have repaletted them before, but I'm certain nobody has done a complete rework like that. It looks great -- please keep going! (and consider posting them in the Heretic/Hexen texture thread instead)
