I started on Wombo AI with the prompt:"Xenomorphic texture flat" & then reworked/resized them in Paint.net. The Realistic v2 and Horror v2 settings worked best with this starting image.

Base was CONS1_8 from the Romero doom dump (via lostres), I replaced the silver part to fit better alongside the consoles included in base game, and made the outer section pure grey to facilitate sector borders. Can be rotated to derive custom CONS2_2 to CONS2_6

That would be amazing, kinda like Black Mesa vs Aperture Science. Could you help me with some ideas? Also, I forgot to mention, but these use @Marcelus HD sprites as a base.

Well, freedoom doesn't really have HD textures, but here is an idea (bit humorous):

 

"Your Hell frozen over?
Tired of fighting demons?
Sign up with AGM to explore new HORIZONS"

(HORIZON is the name for alien planet that replaces hell in freedoom.)

Almost all the TF2 Textures with some normalmap and Model based redundancies, Extracted from the game, converted and downscaled to 12.5% original size.

I always thought tnt's cobweb textures sucked, so I made these:

But when I convert them to the doom palette I understand why they suck in the first place. Doom has no transparent pixels so they all get converrted to pure white and look like this:

Is there a way to circumvent this? I thought about making them png only, but that would mean it wouldn't work on some ports, right?

SLADE has a slider during conversion that should help preserving more transparency, but semi-transparent is impossible.

Corner compflat, redone from scratch, This time it uses the freedoom shawn as a base, and has a new border hand drawn to be unique, so it should be Kosher for freedoom derived projects.

(anyone is free to use/modify. Same terms as freedoom.)

Edit: I know it looks like it tiles awfully when used with the actual freedoom console, but the problem is with the original textures, and I can't fix it without replacing the whole bunch. Still, give it a try

Try merging it with a grey tone, then erasing the parts that were the background:

Here's a "cement" texture that tiles well. Use a scale of 32x 32y in SLADE's texture editor to make it fit with the standard 64x128 textures...
