NiGHTMARE Posted June 18, 2021 (edited) Because it's weird that all windows have blinds, and even weirder that those blinds are on the outside of the window! (Top left is the normal graphic, included for comparison.) EDIT: Because it's also weird that there are lights on in every room behind a window. The salmon color is not used for transparency in the game, but it was used for transparency in id's toolchain. As a result, there are several sprites and even a few textures that have accidental transparent holes in places where they should have that color. The arachnotron's brain is especially a victim of that, but I've found some other instances, such as the Doom II burning city sky. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post

But my conscious tell me i must to contribute atleast something. So..... this is a few brick textures. Small tip: I tested it in true color and doom render software in GZDOOM. NiGHTMARE Posted July 7, 2021 (edited) I made some nukage, blood, and water edges a while back, but I'm not sure if I ever shared them. The same map I needed the GSTONE textures for in my previous also required some lava edges, and I decided I might as well do the slime edges at the same time. I've also gone over everything with PSP's retouch tool to improve the aliasing. I realise I forgot the marble versions, and I also want to do some more based on BROWN96, BROWNGRN, SP_HOT, WOODMET and possibly others. I'll share these once they're done! (Note that the METAL2 edges will need to be shifted one pixel to the right for use with the unmodified original texture, and the STONE2 edges are based on the texture being shifted up by 16 pixels.) E2M2 and E4M7 from Doom 1 and MAP08 and MAP14 from Doom 2 are the only exceptions so far (the first are taken from previous, abandoned projects, while I found it easier working from scratch for the latter two as the revisions are quite drastically different than the originals).
