SharkLordSatan Posted October 21, 2016 So I'm seeking to revive my Doom/Halo WAD that I was working on with GodFather38. However, said WAD gradually slowly died off in production when I lost motivation, as I was basically the backbone of the project: I worked on both the maps and the actual sprites themselves. Therefor I'm looking for people who are interested in helping me develop this WAD. I primarily need people who are willing to help me with these: * Possible design, and optimization, of sprites. For the old project I was using pre-made sprites mainly made for platformer POV/games (look up Halo: Out With a Whimper, it's a good example of what I'm talking about and uses similar sprites). If I don't use those pre-made sprites again I would like help with the creation of the new sprites. *Putting together WADs. For the old project I used downloaded monsters and files from Realm667, however I didn't know how to actually package them with the WAD (I loaded them as resources in ZDoom Builder, UDMF format) so I kept them separate. *Fine-tuning, and testing, of maps. I know how to build maps and apply textures but for some things I might need help, such as setting up traps, making 3D bridges, etc. If you want to contact me, my gmail is LastForerunner0@gmail.com. Also, I forgot to mention, but if you'd like to see what I've done free-handedly, I have a few pictures here: (concept sprite for a monster I have in mind; a possessed Grunt from Halo) (custom sprite I made, meant to be captain Lasky) (various Half-Life aliens and objects I sprited for fun) (old attempt at making the Maledict, head sprite is a modified Forgotten One sprite downloaded off Realm667) The sprites I have for the old Doom/Halo WAD that was dropped are pieced together from pre-existing sprite sheets I found and downloaded off the Internet, so technically they don't exactly count. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Also, in response to VGA, I'm am aware of the difficulty, my leftovers from the old project will be hard to dive back into. But most of the code is done anyways so that's not much of an issue. As for sols, I think we should patch up the old thread so that it looks less abandoned. As a side note, you were the skin, organs(yes, I know the skin is also an organ but for the sakes of simplicity I made them separate), and the creative parts of the brain. Whereas I was the bones, muscle, and quantitative elements of the brain. The contents and fun things were you, the things that made it work were mine. I have immensely overthought that analogy.
