Thoughts of Different Versions of Arcade Mode?

I was thinking how neat it would be to see Arcade mode with different rules, such as no upgrades, pistol only, Tyson. What do you think of that aspect and/or do you have any other mode ideas to add?

I have an idea, how about it saves my damn settings! >:[

I agree, it is a tad annoying to change my guns back every time I exit, especially when I jump into a level, go for that stun and cut everything in half with the heat pulse XD.
