Also, for some strange reason, I mostly get pissed off instead of being scared.

 

A great advice for those struggling with pulling off something or those who get anxious in social situations: Do it like you are being paid for it.

 

What do you do when you are paid to? Do you put up a warm smile, do you get cold and professional, or do you get grumpy and despise everything? Most importantly, do you do it good enough to be paid money for? It is up to you. Either way it should work.

Speaking about golf, I love to golf but since the golf carts are scarce and almost always used up at the place i go to, i end up getting tired due to all the walking near the end of the game. As a result I try to rush the game up so I can finish quickly and finally rest.

For the grand majority of the last four years, I've eaten a peanut butter sandwich on whole grain bread every day as part of my lunch at work. I might be a little frugal, but it's mainly that I just don't tire of peanut butter. There's a Jack in the Box in the gas station next to the plant, but I heavily consider it to be the inferior choice.

There's really no better drink than coffee to me. Water and coffee are I ever really drink now. Soda just isn't worth the sugar crash afterwards and alcohol has always been meh to me, I don't do well with dehydration.

English isn't my first language as anyone can tell.

'Spite I am considered relatively skillful in written English, the way I construct my sentences and generally the text I write is still infested by mostly grammatical errors scattered around every now and then, ranging from negligible to the extremely painful level - and I honestly admit that sometimes I have to look up certain words in the dictionary.

BUT. It's still nothing compared to my spoken English (if that thing even exists, heh).

Generally my verbal communication in English is described as the following:
1. Stammering, muttering and stretched wovels of being uncertain;
2. Approx. 3-4 seconds of silence thinking about a single word or other kind of "howshallIputit";
3. Blatant mispronunciations at their finest;
4. And whenever I am able to overcome the first two and relieve a bit, none can ever shut me down from telling uninteresting nonsense or other kinds of bullshit without taking a breath for entire minutes.

The sole reason I passed my oral language exam was the strange scoring system in Hungary - all of these listed above are forgiven if you know a certain vocabulary and are able to share thoughts that make sense about a cliché topic. In fact, if the lads see your enthusiasm, you can even score flatout 100%!

Duration is potentially less relevant here. If you post in a lot of places, you get more notifications. You also get A LOT of notifications from status updates compared to standard threads. Make an early reply on a couple of popular statuses and you could get 20+ notifications really quickly, let alone all the pings from other threads.
