Doomkid Posted December 17, 2016 Hopefully one of you will know what I'm talking about - a year or so ago, there was a thread which showed E1M1 being rendered line by line and it was super interesting. I'm not sure if it was a painstakingly generated one-off or if it was done with a program, but I'd love to compile some animations of famous maps being rendered line by line. Does anyone know what I'm talking about / does anyone have the link to the thread? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Doomkid Posted December 17, 2016 That's exactly what I was after, thank you! EDIT: I know literally nothing about Python, but I managed to run the script only to get "The _imaging C module is not installed". Apparently this is caused by the _imaging.pyd file not being found, but it's right there in the same directory as everything else. Does anyone have some tips for a laymen to get this thing running? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Revenant Posted December 24, 2016 The 'dist' directory in that repo has a standalone Windows build that doesn't require you to have Python installed. Give it a try and it should work. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
