invictius Posted December 31, 2016 I'm thinking kind of like the claustrophobia one... Skyscrape IV I think it's called. Haven't really seen anything else like that that's a whole level, just big horizontal levels with tallish buildings. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Not Jabba Posted January 1, 2017 This is the sort of thing that's virtually impossible to do well in the Doom engine and probably not very fun and interesting to replicate in ZDoom, so I doubt you'll find much. The Quake 1 community has made lots of good vertical maps, if you're interested in that game. Also, have you played Xaser's map from 50 Shades of Graytall? It's not exactly tiny, but it does maximize vertical space in a neat way to make the level feel a lot bigger. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Cynical Posted January 1, 2017 Maybe Map 06 of Sunder, Grinder? It's cramped as hell horizontally with a ton of z-axis play. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

floatRand Posted January 1, 2017 Well, what comes to mind is Eagle's Nest from Deus Vult 2. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
