Unlike most of my sprites, I never made concept art for the Principality (Angelic Mancubus replacement). Once I knew she was an ojou-sama, it just came together. Still, I did want to see how she would turn out as a drawing. Also, wish I had a scanner.

One of my inspirational artists include Frank Frazetta, and so I've been trying to practice some anatomical stuff. They're taken straight from his artwork so that I could study them. Just showing off what's currently being practiced in my doodles. I've got some other stuff that uses anatomical stuff compared to the toony things I usually draw.

Just recently came back from a drawing burn-out and I've also become a Touhou fan.

 

 

 

At this point, I discovered a book called "How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way" and while I'm still not done with it, here's some of the exercises I had to do:

 

I would apply some of the stuff I've learned and I like how they turn out, it's a pretty good book:

 

 

I might post more soon but I have some schoolwork arriving recently and I have to finish by the end of the month, thought I'd let you guys know.

Finished the Marisa ZUN art from a while ago.

This was an attempt at drawing Marisa's design from Subterranean Animism in ZUN's more recent styles (as seen in Unconnected Marketeers) and I think I did a good job at replicating his style. What do yous think?

Been learning how to do digital art recently, here's my first attempt at proper shading (with some texturing on the right):

Happy Easter everyone!!! :D Here's another one ridiculous piece by me. Hope you enjoy it!

A little bit of a backstory on it. I've played Yooka-Laylee And The Impossible Lair back in the day, and there were these enemies who - to me anyway - distinctly look like pinky demons in bunny suits... and they're very adorable. Of course, memory of these cute critters came back to me before Easter. So I decided to draw my vision of those creatures :)

Also, the other day, I was decorating (no, I don't mean modding Doom right now, sadly) the house for Easter, and I put a little fuzzy chick from a dollar store on top of my cacodemon plush, and took a picture of it... It was so cute, I decided to draw that, too. And so, little by little, a hilarious artwork formed in my head.

As for Daisy... I have extremely little experience drawing bunnies, and basically my bunny-drawing skills are limited strictly to portraits of Jazz Jackrabbit I used to draw in the end of the 90's... I used that famous sprite of Daisy as a reference intentionally, to make it look as Doomy as possible. Unfortunately I don't remember the creator of that set of sprites (please feel free to point it out to me, I want to know the artists!), but those sprites appear in Action Doom and Corruption Cards. Without a flower tho :)

This piece gave me a lot of warm, fuzzy memories of seeing Jen Seng's downright playful Capcom fanart in GameFan Magazine back in the PSX/Saturn era. Keep producing more adorable cacos!

-First Master Study I've done (Girl with Pearl Earring by Johannes Vermeer), the result looks crappy but I finished it anyway. I might do more master studies soon if I can.

-A quick Kogasa drawing I did afterwards.
