BigMetalhead Posted May 1, 2022 This is gonna sound weird, but some Doom WADs really inspired me to draw more. A lot of them are surprisingly beautiful. But one WAD really captivated me. I recently played through BPRD's GROVE, and I was overwhelmed by the beautiful colors and atmosphere of the WAD, with all of that being amplified by the music. Notably, the starry red sky really caught my attention. So, I tried drawing it lol. Unlike a lot of you guys, I'm not a master artist, so I'm very happy with how this one came out lol. With that being said, I definitely made the entire thing a bit too bright considering how dark BPRD's GROVE actually is. Oops lol. 12 Quote Share this post Link to post

I know it's bad, I ain't no pablo picasso... It was also done in libreoffice impress, which is an open-source equivalent to microsoft powerpoint. Pictured above is the protagonist for a project I'm working on called "THE ADVENTURES OF DELTA". EDIT: THIS is now my profile picture, this is due to doomworld having a shotty crop feature (which you need to use btw) and I didn't have time for that... We worked well on Devilution maps. Who knows? I would like to, but may not have the time once this project is done. :) In terms of naming robots, Off the top of my head, I see that one from SouthPark. metropolis, K9 from Dr Who, the roomba from Star Wars, and the T1000 from Terminator 2.
