Looking for large or megawad that uses new sky every map

Just saw the sky collection that guy posted. Got me thinking that you rarely see a new sky ever level unless the wad is only a few maps long.

Try the Boom sections of Doomworld Mega Projects. Most of those maps have custom skies, usually distinct from other maps in the wad.

Any notable wad that moves the sky? Not animation, but actually scrolling it around.

Claustrophobia 1024 does that. Claustrophobia 1024 2 too but it uses the same skies of the first wad.

guys these threads are pretty harmless in the grand scheme of things; if you dont like them then dont reply to them. if you reply then they bump the thread and theyll sit on the front page for longer...

Skies are impossible to put in a wad with a mapinfo referencing them, if you're running it alongside another wad with its' own skies, right? I'd like a small wad with a dozen skies that could autoload with gzdoom, that would override anything in any other wad.

Actually with Boom format you can set any texture as sky- (well you can do that with ACS/Linedef actions or UDMF too) meaning you can just fill a wad full of skys and go to town!

These threads pop in on a weekly basis, I had to make at least one reply to show what I think.
