That's why I said screw "avid listeners". You'd be surprised how many musicians in the extreme metal scene were e.g. sad over Chester Benningfield's death while their fans were jeering and hooting. And I say that as someone who can't fucking stand Linkin Park either and never got what the whole hoopla was all about. I think it's safe to assume that Tom G. Warrior and King Diamond were never fans of Slipknot. And no, you don't get physically attacked with a brick for calling Slipknot garbage by anyone that isn't an emotionally unstable psychopath. I know that Rob Halford is a fan of Slipknot, but it's ludicrous to say that he'd brutally attack someone with a brick for calling them garbage. Slipknot are reviled by avid metal listeners, and poorly represent the style of music that they're trying to emulate. I have some friends that like Slipknot, but they all completely understand why people dislike them as much as they do. I'm curious to know exactly which extreme metal musicians were personally impacted by the death of Chester Benningfield. Can you name any? You say I'd be surprised, so I'm providing you with the opportunity to surprise me. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Endless Posted September 2, 2017 I did enjoy the Soundtrack a lot, there was a lot of effort and finally, the music was brought back to the main scene, not just some ''Background music'', but more dinamyc and worth it. BFG Division and Mastermind are just MINDBLOWING. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
