MattMetal Posted April 16, 2017 I my name is Matt and I have a question about Risen3D I have a 55-inch TV screen and when I trie to play Doom's Risen3D it gave me error message ======= DEBUG INFO file G:\Risen3D\R3Ddebug.out ======== #### RISEN3D ADVISORY #### PROBLEM: The requested settings have been rejected. Please install your monitor correctly and restart but Zdoom works just fine on my 55-inch screen is there anyway to fix this thanks Matt 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
BigDickBzzrak Posted April 16, 2017 Try running it with "-user_ds 1920 1080" in the command line, without the quote marks ofc. Maybe you have a resolution not supported by R3D. The best solution would be to just go back to ZDoom though... trust me... :] 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Graf Zahl Posted April 25, 2017 No. Both ports are completely incompatible with everything beyond Boom/MBF. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

WoofDg79 Posted August 17, 2018 Good day! You mention fixing this issue through Nvidia's control panel, but you never mentioned what you actually did. I'm having this exact issue right now and your reply is such a tease! If you see this please let me know what you actually did to fix this issue. Thanks! 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
TentativePremise Posted July 2, 2019 Sorry for posting in this old thread, but for the benefit of those who've found it via a web search (like I did): I've encountered the same problem, and have found that Risen3D doesn't handle high DPI displays well. If you've configured your screen as a high DPI display (i.e. set text scaling to anything other than 100%), try disabling DPI scaling for Risen3D. You can do this by right-clicking the Risen3D.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Change high DPI settings (exact naming and structure may differ by Windows version); here, I get the application perform DPI scaling. After this, everything seems to work well. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
