Bu-bu-bump! Updated the OP by providing a downloadable example WAD. It's not too exquisite, but it should show it off well enough! Hopefully people will be able to pull it apart and see how it works.

well good,but the way floors and ceilings are in can the engine realy render them non-blocking?
