Just to clarify none of the maps will stay in the slots people originally put them in: we're needing to bounce everyone's up to the Map 20-50 range to account for Xyzzy01's mapset. That's why we're needing to confirm music choices.

@Dragonfly Feel free to name or do whatever you like with it. I was mostly working on my other map at the time; and needed to do something I perceived as a real quick map to take a break; plus I wanted to contribute to the project. My map is likely the weakest of the lot.

@SArais - Thanks, I've picked some music and due to the sheer oddity of your level in appearance, I've named it inner demons. I've picked what I believe to be a fitting midi, too, but you can check for yourself when the 1st beta gets released in a week. :)

Hi, it just occurred to me that my map has no name. IMO there's nothing sadder than an unnamed map, so please name it "It's Gonna Be a Blast", thank you sir(s).

(yep, the first lame pun I could think of. :] )

cool. The player's likely to get snagged on map geometry and movement is extremely tight. but oop.

Picked out some bits of ol' trakula. I like it's hom effects.

I forgot to add music to my wads, so can I leave this up to you Dragonfly? I don't want to be a bother to you, but I would basically pick something with an atmospheric feeling and straight to the main thing, because the maps I posted are tiny and if I put a rock or metal song, it wouldn't even begin, before the player beat the map (the song could be from an iWAD too, or just a song you picked). As for the names, I named just the files, though they weren't very creative I think and you could do whatever you want with them.

Your requests have been fulfilled. I named the maps "Emerald Onslaught" and "Aggressor" respectively. Music has also been selected.

After what seemed like eons of no internet access, I return! But only for a brief moment as I have to tend to my maps now :P

@Dragonfly, the OP is now updated but there is a new map that was PM'ed to me there, just letting you know! :) Also nice names for the maps, I'm not very good with names myself. :P

 

@Walter confetti I like to shoot it, shoot it! I would've never imagined this map compressed! This is easily better than the Plutinya Experiment!

 

So we have a TNT remake, a Doom II demake by @Mosshopper, and now a Plutonia remake. What's next, an Ultimate Doom demake?  

 

@VIE-rus if you're reading this, this was great for your first map! I like the little details you made in the floor as well as the name of the map itself. :)

 

EDIT: A bit off topic, I cross-posted in the ZDoom forums a while back, but it seems no one there was interested in this project, heh.

I have fixed this for you so the code isn't map number sensitive.

 

As you're new to ACS, I'll let you know that the issue here was a very, very easy fix. ACS_Execute's second argument, map, can be zero. A map value of zero indicates that the script is on the current map. For example, ACS_Execute(2, 0, 0, 0, 0);
