By listening to the midi, how hard would it be to make it loop in your opinion? If you think you could learn to modify the midi for your own needs, or know someone who can, perhaps that is a better solution than just leaving it poorly looping and being a distration in your level.

Someone will complain and you'll wish you picked one that does. I don't really find it an issue, but some aficionado of Doom might think your map is the worst thing since unsliced bread because of it. If it just loops once it's probably forgivable, but if it's something that you need to listen to over and over again maybe consider using a different one if possible.

 

There really is no definitive answer for this. I'd just go with your gut.
