Searching for Exploding Lips game.

Ever since Mayhem Mansion I've been curious to locate the original game it was based on. The demo was simple to find but I'm starting to think this game was vaporware. I've contacted the author of the game, he claimed to have a few hard copies left but I haven't heard back form him since November of last year. I hope I'm in the right sub forum for this. Is there any other way to get this game?

Perhaps Hard Head? It was crazy enough to include exploding lips (or at least walking dentures)

Clearing up confusion, I was talking about the mod made by Darsycho. Mayhem Mansion was inspired by Exploding lips and utilized a lot of ripped assets. I'm attempting to find a copy of the original game.

If there ever was a full copy, the internet doesn't have it. The official site with the demo is as close as you'll get...

I found a person who may have the full version of Exploding lips 1999. Here he is on YouTube @gXxaxx . When I asked E.J. Gold (the developer of Exploding lips) he said (@gXxaxx) that he was asked to fix lips.exe which does not run on newer versions of Windows. We are waiting for him to fix the game.

Late reply but judging by how he replied, it seems there's someone else who has a more functional version of it. As for who that person is, we may not know until we get to hear about the person themself and whether they still have the wrapped version of the game.

Interesting obscure retro arcade game dude. Looks like Bonk the Caveman. Apparently this game was based off some Korean comic character?

I contacted this Xxaxx guy aswell. Interestingly, he mentioned someone called Richard who I guess might be the guy with the working copy of the game, but I can't be 100% sure about that.

He does not respond to me at all, not on Instagram, not on YouTube. I haven't tried emailing him yet, but I don't think he'll write me back.

Maybe the full version has multiplayer. The official website Explodinglips.com has a section "Tournament lips" where they show about multiplayer and there are also images of cards that can be part of multiplayer or part of single player mode. And you need to go to the site through the Wayback machine, now the site is just closed.

Hey dude, I found information on how many equations and what they look like in the full version. 

I found the info on the official Explodinglips.com website, you have to go to the guide button and there are images and descriptions of how to complete the full version. 

And the full version has 18 equations. I don't know if there is a Tormenet lips mode, but we have to wait for @gXxaxx to fix the game...

To answer your question, it's an obscure first person shooter that I, the original poster, and @!Exploding lips? have been trying hard to track down the full version. It's covered by @Revenant100 in his Obscure First Person Shooters series, and like the original poster said, it's the game which the Doom mod, Mayhem Mansion is based on. Like another member also said, so far only the demo is available on the internet, and the full version is considered to be lost. Claude Needham aka Xxaxx, the guy who contacted, claims to be one of the developers of the game and have the full version (ableit broken, but trying to fix), so we might have a lead on obtaining the full version.
