Linguica Posted November 13, 2017 Other than a dither pattern (which would look pretty awful), I can't think of any way to fake translucency, or any real attempts to do so. 40oz Posted November 13, 2017 IMO the best "glass" texture is the one in Evilution where it has the little UAC logo watermark on the corner. I'm not sure why the watermark makes it look like glass to me, but it does. Window frames without that watermark just look like windowframes with no glass. I've never come up with any other way to do nice clean transparent glass in doom unless you want to put cracks or blood or bulletholes in it. I think you just need to physically see something on it so the player knows its there. Otherwise its just nothing. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
