DXHeXen problem

Now, I've had DXHeXen on my hard drive for the longest time, and up till now, it's never crashed on me or anything like that. Yesterday, I was in the mood to play some HeXen, so I decided to go load up DXHeXen. It was then that the problem started.
I double-clicked the exe, and it loaded right up. But, once it got past the screen where it shows the version # and all that, it crashed. I tried again and DXHeXen crashed again. It's never done this before, I haven't been screwing around with the .cfg file or anything; it's as though the exe decided it wasn't going to work for me anymore.
Help?
