Phade102 Posted February 1, 2018 I can tell you that a fair few maps of Sunlust will cause massive frame drops. I have a beast of a computer and even I have trouble running it. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

40oz Posted February 1, 2018 I haven't looked too deeply into it, but you could try searching whole text files for "crash" in the /idgames database, sometimes honest people write in the "known bugs" field about specific areas that caused Doom to crash. https://www.doomworld.com/idgames//index.php?search=1&field=textfile&word=crash&sort=time&order=asc&page=1 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Varis Alpha Posted February 1, 2018 i get constant low framerates playing pretty much... any part of Winter's Fury. though that's kind of a given. Ultimate Torment 'n Torture has gotten more playable framerates as time went on for me and i got better hardware. Zdoom Community Map Project 2 also dipped for me all the way through, i recall. as for Boom stuff, Hellbound map29 had been mentioned before, but some of the large middle city levels can be choppy too, though absolutely not to the degree that map29 does. i think Sunlust's last few levels ran poorly too, like Maelstrom and The God Machine. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
