which port is still active on ctf

was wondering because on zandronum its all about complex, on zdaemon its all about sessions and LA WORLDS. Dont know about skulltag.

 

Where can I find these public ctf games with 16 people? I miss those!

I don't think anyone is playing that anymore. It's all brutal doom campaign stuff now

They still do happen on ZDaemon from time to time but it's a rare sight. ZDS will host 3 team CTF just this Saturday so that might be of interest to you.

Pub ctf has really died out across the board. Skulltag hasn't been a thing for more than 6 years now. Best bet overall is catching a FFA on either zdaemon or zandronum nowadays.

If you wanna kickstart pub CTF sometime you may still get some players. I wanna blame the lack of activity on the fact that everyone who would be playing it is playing in tourneys.

 

Also the fact that pub has almost entirely been on IDL maps for the last couple years...

6 months ago CoreCTF + ZDCTF servers were all the rage on ZDaemon, not sure why they went away, fantastic selection of maps. I never played CTF much though, I'm into deathmatch, survival and duel which all still have a pulse.

so sad it is gone, 10 years ago it was so normal to play those games and now it is gone :(
