Boom linedef 242 not working as expected

I have an essentially vanilla map that uses a Boom 242 linedef to fix a rendering error in glboom-plus (sky lowered to keep cacos from straying). Unfortunately this doesn't appear to work in Eternity (both old Bitfrost and latest Heimdal builds tested).

Also I can't get Heimdal to work in fullscreen, neither the menu setting or Alt+enter work. Any help appreciated.

Alright, I've fixed the problem. Merely being the target of a 242-special caused the visual glitch to appear, even if the source sector was the same shape as the target sector.

That's great, couldn't think of an alternate method
