Pretty fun for a 1994 level.x

Short map from the experimental era. Chaotic layout, detailing and gameplay, has a lot of flaws like texture misalignments, but does have more gameplay than the average map from that time and gives a nostalgic feeling. Overall, rated from a 1994 POV: somewhere between 3 & 4*.x

This was E3M3 of HEROES.WAD. It's a must-play for those seeking old-school PWADS. It's a castle map with great architecture and lighting, but mediocre texturing. The gameplay is very fun with nice traps and connections between areas for deathmatch, but I just wish it was longer. 4/5x

Pretty interesting map. The level design is really good, especially for something that was made back in 1994. I thought the texturing was pretty nice, except for that weird sky texture that's placed on the wall near the end of the map. I thought that was out of place.x

This is dated June 1994, so it's very old. It's also very good for the time, and still entertaining today. The texturing and design is fun - it's a sort of E2 castle/dungeon with an outdoors area - although unpolished, and the gameplay blats along nicely. There's an irritating crushing ceiling trap right at the end (it's supposed to kill some barons, but you will have killed them already). Apart from that it's enjoyable and very nostalgic.x

Wow, are people still playing this wad? This was my fist map I ever made. --guyx

Very good 1994 map. I remember when I played it many years ago. It's a big fort with different rooms and lots of action. There are some texture alignment bugs, but who cares? 4/5 -GGx
