Description: |
You find yourself in a dark cave facing a large castle. Don't stare too long, though, or you will die.
Once inside the castle, you must fight your way from room to room and find the switches that will let you escape.
This is the second level I have done, but the first was rather basic. This level was designed mainly for a single player. I have not tried this level in cooperative or deathmatch modes, but it should work.

| This is another early castle level, one of many. It illustrates why castle levels were so popular; they were easy to design. This level has a square layout with lots of square undetailed rooms. There's a throne, but no toilets. It's middlingly-sized, with 100 monsters. The grid-like layout and uniform stone textures are at least not eye-gouging. But it plays like a Doom version of a text adventure (GO NORTH, GO NORTH, GO EAST etc). | x | |

| Some flaws but a nice level nonetheless. -riki | x |
