[Note by the uploader: I found this on several old CD's with doom-level-collections. None of them had a textfile with the name of the author. But on the *1001 Nights of Doom* -CD, there is a FILES.BBS -file, that has the following description line:]

     | This is an archetypally eye-gouging early level from before the dawn of time (May 1994). The textures are all random and most of the rooms look as if they were laid out freehand. It has a silly crushing ceiling trap, monsters and ammo scattered around, and it hurts my eyes. There's a door with yellow borders that doesn't need the yellow key. E1M2 is a terrible deathmatch level which is hard enough to walk around, it would be awful to play. | x |
