Description: |
This is my first "official" wad. The idea behind it is a themeless, but varied scenery type adventure. I tried to make it scary and fun. Also, the area in which the level ends is the ground floor of my cabin near Mount Lassen. |

     | This is dated August 1994. It has the typical angular look of these early levels. Coloured doors that don't need keys, unmarked doors that do; the walls are lined with switch and ceiling textures. 122 mostly weak monsters, plenty of ammo and health. There are a few ambitious areas - the house that the other reviewer mentions is more intricate than a lot of dedicated "my house" levels. Deserves a couple of stars for nostalgia, although it's very mazey. | x | |

     | The author uses almost every texture scheme imaginable, but some individual parts aren't that bad. There are a lot of "arena"-like sections, which could have been great, but ... there's just way too few monsters to keep the action interesting. The Mastermind area and the final area (designed to look like a small house) were quite nice, though. Skip it. --2/5 | x |
