Description: |
A very Wolf3D 'feel'! Escape From Wolfenstein is tough... the tough part actually is finding the exit without cheat codes. |

| very good for its period | x | |

| This is dated August 1994; if only the designer had waited a few months, he could have put in some of Doom II's Wolfenstein textures. Perhaps it's good that he didn't. Still, it's a castle level with 56 weak monsters. The design is competent for the period (I have seen far worse) but it lacks verve, and feels computer-generated; the yellow key is superfluous, and the exit is hidden behind a secret wall in a dark room. For the period it's okay. | x | |

| This is a castle (but modernized in the recent years, because it's full of computer terminals).
It's not very detailed and orientation is only made difficult by the darkness in some areas.
The map is not too bad and some areas are looking quite nice, mainly due to the great Doom tech-textures, but it's very simple and has easy and short gameplay. 2/5 -Milian | x |
