Title: The Omen
Filename: levels/doom/m-o/omen.zip
Size: 46.07 KB
Date: 12/28/02
Author: David & Kathy Bruni
Description: A dark haunting WAD. With much emphasis on horror and the macabre. We tried to make it as gruesome as we could without overdoing it. I think. I've made this WAD file a little less difficult. No hidden exit this time. All the weapons are in plain sight. There's also ample weapons and ammo to kill all the different monsters. Revised to support deathmatch.

It's hard to believe Doom is 9 years old and so many people are still playing it and making levels and utilities for it. *Geoff Allan-Author of DoomEd *Jack Vermeulen-Author of DeePsea, which is a hell of an editor! Buy it, you won't be sorry. *Antony Burden-Author of DETH *Raphael Quinet and Brendon Wyber - DEU 5.21 GCC *Colin Reed, Lee Killough, Simon Howard & Colin Phipps - BSP 1.2x through 5.x. *Jim Flynn for all the time he spent making Boom and all the help and answers to many questions I had way back when. *Dr Sleep for all his help and for his insistance that all textures line-up. I tried as best I could to live up to his standard. *Marc Rousseau for Zennode
Base: New from scratch
Build time: We worked on this off & on for 2 to 3 weeks. I was doing this and the DoomED tutorial at the same time. Maybe 60 hours total. Plus another 20 or 30 hours aligning textures and line lenghts to make textures line-up.
Editor(s) used: DoomEd, DETH, DeeP, DeePsea, DEU 5.21 GCC, BSP 1.2x through 5.x, Zennode, DeepBSP.

Typical 1995 level with too many flaws usual for those times. Rated as such: meh.x

I can't believe no one has left any comments since 2002! A shame! Well anyway, you certainly bring on the monsters at the beginning of the level, huh? Overall a nice level, well done! 3/5! ~~ Cam the Cat - 4/17/11x
