Jim Flynn put together some kickass maps in the early days of Doom. Unfortunately this is not one of them. Unless of course you like crawling around a bunch of narrow ledges (with lava beneath you) being strafed by Lost Souls with hardly any ammo. That's just the start and when a map starts like this I lose patience with the whole thing.x

This is dated August 1994. The author's 1994 levels are amongst the few that are still good today. This is okay. It's big and complex, with clever use of height variations and transforming scenery, but it has a hideously annoying climbing bit, an aggravating maze, and indeed it looks horrible. You get vast, vast amounts of ammo against a fairly easy lot of baddies. Nonetheless it kept me amused for half an hour, which is more than can be said for e.g. Watchmen.x

Good, but a bit disjointed, with some overly complex puzzles. Also, most of the map can be skipped entirely without the need for any tricks.x
