TimeOfDeath
| YAY for Quake remakes | x | |
Grazza
| Serious map-smashing errors; most of the map can be skipped (exiting in a few seconds) without even using any tricks or exploits. Bland looking; the idea has been done far better very long ago. I wouldn't have known this was meant to be a remake of the Quake map if the textfile hadn't said so. The map would deserve (generously) 2/5 if bug-free; I'll deduct only 1 for the errors. 1/5 | x | |

| Unfortunately the issue with this map is that the concept on this map specifically has been done before and with a lot better execution (requiem map31). In the end the detail and the gameplay is rather bland overall. The music is nice though. 2 stars (sorry :/) | x | |

| I remember almost nothing from Quake (played it when I was eight or so) so I'm taking this wad on its own merits. It's a veeeery simplistic level with only 15 monsters and metal textures everywhere. Some parts feel a bit like variations of "Hunted" from Plutonia but with HKs/barons instead of AVs (though there are some other enemies as well) and with wider corridors. I just skipped most of the fights because I could and they didn't look fun. Oh well, at least the music is nice... | x |
