map information/history

most of these maps where meant to be in DSV3: War, but they were cut back. So they make thier appearence in this wad. Maps 7, 8, 9, 10, and 23.

troubleshooting:

if the game fails to load, check if the doom3.wad and legacy.exe are in the same dir as the dsv4 wad is in, and put the doom2.wad in if all else fails. Or use Legacy's launcher instead.

in-game troubleshooting:

due to some bugs in legacy beta 4 (included) there are some slight bugs to look out for. Beta 3 and lower cannot run the game at all. Beta 4 can only fully run it properly. But beta 4 still has bugs, but at least its very un-noticeable. The main bug to look out for is avoiding saving while on 3d platforms, as when loaded, you will fall straight through. Not good when saving on map32! *note this bug is fixed in beta 5 and is recomended to play under dsv4.*

updates:

note, Legacy 1.4 might not run this wad very well either. Also, many maps and scripts has been tweaked for Coop/online play.

most of the textures/sprites were not done by me. I only created the k_base and k_flat textures and the keen sprite replacement. The doom64 resources is created by Midway INC and I am not trying to harm anyone in anyway, nor ripping no one off. This wad must require the full version of Doom2 to run.

the textures may be used only if you email me to let me know. No one isn't allowed to use the maps as base for thier own.

Eternity and Zdoom versions will also be availible soon.
