This level has a reasonable difficulty; not truly hard but it can offer some danger in a few areas, although it takes a while for it to pick up. Being a hotel imitation it has some silly furniture and such, and makes some simple jokes with it (like two Mancubi in the green watered Jacuzzi). The thing I don't like much is the barred texture maze, which isn't too rough but it's annoying to navigate or learn, as it offers no clues in the automap. [2/5] Chain Mail [11/2007]x

This is from July 1995. The author had a thing for large-scale carnage, and this map is no exception. Most hotel/apartment-styl e levels tended to be just a grid of square rooms, but this is fun. It's more like a castle than a hotel. Not hard, loads more ammo than you need, but there's a constant load of baddies. Simple multi-storey design. Has a genuinely funny visual joke with some mancubuses and a toilet; also has implied impse (they share a bath).x

I remember playing this a long time ago. It was pretty fun. Michael Reed made some cool maps like Hoover Dam.x
