  1. Never worked with FreeDoom assets before, pretty fun so far. I can see it has some textures from jmickle and sprite from Eriance. I need to get use to the monsters though.

  2. Here's a shot of a WIP map that's been sitting around for a little while. I haven't been able to do enough Doom-stuff recently (got caught off guard by other things, sorry!), so might as well show something, I guess? Should be easy to guess what project it is (or was) intended for.

  7. Conversion to new breakable fixtures system has just been completed, although I will probably spend some more time tweaking stuff here and there in the coming days.

  8. UPDATE: Been to Doctor's, and my BP (although still high) isn't generally a worry until I get anxious; where it peaks to "HOLY SHIT". Basically. So I'm not likely to keel over and die in the near future, I just gotta chill shit. Easier said than done given that I've had problems with anxiety all my life, but hopefully going to get to the bottom of this; ambulatory BP monitoring and further blood tests due on Monday.

  10. In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the worst air crash in history, here are a few pictures taken at the memorial in La Laguna, Tenerife, two weeks ago. The airport and Teide are visible in the background. The plaque. The airport tower and runway can be seen behind the base of the memorial. The layout of the runway and taxiways hasn't changed much. When my flight left a few days later, I recognized the point where we took off as being pretty much exactly the same as the point of impact in 1977.

Should take 15 minutes or fewer. Has HMP/UV. It's an ancient palace set in a ginormous volcanic rift.
