I agree. from one artist to another, thats good work. I like the doom art page also. the doom inspired monters is mad cool. if I ever get a website up, I'll definately put my doom art up.

The comic is cute, albeit somewhat typical. The duo reminded me of R2D2 and C3PO... To me the ultimate DOOM comic would entwine its comicality with the game per se as well as, and maybe more than, the story or setting (albeit there is a tinge of that with the 'jumping marines' line.) I like that demon at the end of the Art section.

I'm seeing all this on a VGA at the moment, so I can't get a grasp of the colors...

I did read comics when I was a teen, though. The demon I mentioned even reminds me a bit about the style of an artist I liked back then; Timothy Truman.

The comic is not bad, but the DooM art really kicks butt.

Interesting little site, Im still trying to get my head round the idea of a Doom comic though.

I Love the artwork and the lack of fancy (SLOW) Flash/Java crap.

I also love that its a 'real life' girl doing the stuff but then Im a sad old bastard.

I hate Caco's, always have, always will, ugly red bastards.

I'm not much into comics, but I really like this one.

POTI Is just not funny compared to this! Actually, IMHO, I think it's just not funny. I read the first 5 strips, and a few more after, then it proved to me it was mostly just doom monsters spouting simpsons quotes when the mood hits them (eg . "but I'm hungry now!" or "Moe! You killed meee".) Unorigonal, and not well done. not amusing in the least to me. More time and enrgey put into it? Like hell! Let me tell out how freaking hard it is to extract spites and copy/paste, oh man. I don;t think I can handle something so complex!! I'm sorry, but by saying using extracted sprites is harder than drawing the monsters.. I don;t know what esle to say. It's much better to draw them, cause you can elicit so much different expressions and emotions from a drawing than a sprite that is constantly looking upset. I mean, so very many people think hiss is so very outright adorable. And I agree! and such an effect could NOT have been done with sprites. I just never really enjoyed sprite comics because of thier ludicrous lack of expression.. I'll make an exception for 8-bit theater though.
POTI has a great name, I just think, IMHO, the strips are uninspired, and are quite easy for anyone to really do.
