    The Covert Ops site has been updated. Progress on the randomisation of the enemy placement and a female hostage sprite is going well. In fact, they hope to have a beta version or even demo ready in "the next few weeks". Whoop!

    my god this is (probably) gonna be cool... as a hardcore counter-strike player, this is one of the projects i'm most looking forward to

    Are the Covert Ops crew modifying the AI and whatnot or are we just getting a new .DEH?

    It does use the Edge engine (formerly DosDoom), you know.

    Just like QDOOM, Covert Ops is uing the EDGE engine, and it's very powerful DDF and RTS capabilities, which is WAY beyond what DeHackEd could ever do.
