Hmm... I just started a tribute level to the Chord series. Maybe if I finish it before the deadline I will enter it. But then again I never manage to finish my levels. By the way Chord rocks. And for those who wanna know the name of the level it is "Chord 4: Special Edition". Hey Ling keep the screen shots coming.

Exactly after what criteria will the Levels be judged? Is it how fun the wad is or how creative? I would like to know if I enter a really fun wad which is nothing special in design do I have a chance of winning. Oh and E-mail me if any one out there is intrested in forming a classic doom levels group. Which will be a group which makes levels only in classic doom style!

Yeah. Well the Spider mastermind is harder as long as you don't have the BFG, and the area you meet him on isn't very big so you have to stay fairly close to him.

i'm not putting one in, can't stand em, much prefer multiple enemy battles.

Linguica, have you been impressed so far with the quality of the maps?, or are you getting more 1 room+cyb types?.

Derek isn't even making a level for this contest. My best guess is that this could be a level by Ola, but I've never seen him use this type of 3D effect before, so I could be wrong.

I don't understand how you people claim to know who made a level just by looking at a few screenshots, just because it looks kind of like another level they did and it is "their style."

I don't know about you guys, but whenever I make levels, I don't care if it is "my style." I don't just make techy levels, or just wood levels, or just marble levels, or just really crazy-angled levels, or just orthagonal levels. If an idea comes to me, I make a level of it, and my levels look totally different from each other.

Maybe I do have a "style" and I just don't see it. But damned if I can figure out who did a 10-sector entry just by looking at a few pictures.

As you can see I have been haxoring Doomworld a bit overnight... I added that last-3-comments thing to the top left, and removed the poll box to see how it looks without it.

...that out of the screenshots I've seen, I like this level the best. Remember I said before, anyone can make one room look good in 3-4 sectors. So I don't know if this level will compare to the others or not. I'm just saying I like it. ...oh, and I don't smoke. It's disgusting.

Doomworld without the poll window? Yuck! As for the last three comments part, I think last five news items would be better, kind of like what DoomNation did.

I can see this level was made by someone with considerable skill. It's quite impressive technically. Well beyond anything I'm capable of. I wonder who did it? Wouldn't put it past someone like Ebola to pull off something like this...
