We are on topic. 2 of my sectors had metal textures on them which look just like doom3, and if I had new music in my level it would have drums in it, you punk.

I think it's incredibly obvious that Sweedish Fish if from the future. In fact, I can prove this beyond a shadow of a doubt. "How?" you ask?

It's simple. He knows that the contest is fixed, that Linguica will never give me Hissy (BAH!), that Mattrim Dixon is a cyborg, etc. There's only one possible way that he can know this, and that's by being from the future. Yep. He very obviously saw these things happen in his own time, and then warped back here and is now able to tell us what happens. How else would he know a bizarre thing like AndrewB and Martin Friberg being brothers?

Lets form a Doom band. All you drummers can fight it out to see who's best, we can find a guitarist, and I'm pretty good at doing the "rah, *undechiperable garbage*, roar, raaaaaaaah" type lyrics :)

Swedish Fish: actually, I have no website for my maps except for a directory where I store them. That website is for my band (as you perhaps noticed), but I think Lüt said something about that he was about to make a site for my maps. I don't know how that is progressing, but perhaps in a while will we have a site dedicated to the my vile creations :)

"Power metal" is like german-school metal, with examples like Manowar, Edguy, Blind Guardian, and so on. Our music has some blackdeath metal influences, as well. The drumming should be better now as I just purchased a new set of drums for like $1000. Ouch. As for a doom band: If we are going to do that, its going to be some Deicide-like stuff. It won't work with punk.

And oh, Fish, if you want to see "what I can do", I do some soloing in the middle of the song forsaken. Those records were recorded in a rush, so they are not that good. And BTW,what band do you play in?

Actually Patrik, I am not in a band. I've been taking lessons for a little more then a year and I am not confident enough to publically make a jackass of my self. I don't think our styles are similiar as I envision being in a band with a horn section. I don't think I have as much aggression as most of you guys seem to. You listen to some heavy/dense stuff. :-)

I don't see how metal can be attributed to Doom III. Risen, how can having metal textures make it look like Doom III? Have you seen Doom III? Are you a spy sent by Id Software to infiltrate our ranks here on Doomworld?

Or maybe all this stuff about the future is true. The contest is fixed! Risen has seen and played the finished build of Doom III! Metal cyborgs are going to take over the world, and only John Connor can save us!

Kurt Kesler is a good guitarist and I consider my self to be pretty good as well. So lets see, 3 drummers, 2 guitarists, and now we need a vocalist....hm maybe Afterglow can lend his 'booyaka' screaming skillz to a rockin doom band.

organizing a band over the net? ok, acceptable i guess..organizing a DOOM band over the net? hmm wtf is a DOOM band? doom music covers? what would you need a vocalist for?
